Recently, Liansheng Optoelectronics (3656) successfully signed a loan of NT$2.3 billion from 7 banks in Taiwan, 2 billion yuan for the construction of new LED plants and equipment purchase, and another 300 million for operating capital.
According to the person in charge of Liansheng, Liansheng Zhongke New Factory invested about 3 billion yuan. It is scheduled to launch red, yellow and blue-green LED chips in Q1 2011, with a maximum monthly output of 44,000 pieces.
The accumulated revenue of Liansheng in the first eight months of 2010 was 561 million yuan, an increase of 84.54%. With the recovery of the LED industry, its revenue and profitability can grow.
