However, the overall product maturity is worrying; it may also be the first market in the lighting field to be ruined. It is suspected of repeating the initial stage of LED guardrail lights. LEDT8 tube application, from the current market product plan, has been close to the launch of commercial products, is the first market that can be mature and popularized. At present, it can be used in parking lots, shopping malls, advertising backlights and other markets; and with the current product cost and selling price, it is basically close to the proximity of commercial applications (150). Good products have relatively mature solutions in terms of optics, heat dissipation, and power handling. The product is also closest to commercialization. It has been mainly because the product program is not mature enough, so it is difficult to apply on a large scale. From the previous die-casting to the current aluminum extrusion profile; but the products that can really solve the heat dissipation and power supply have not yet been seen, that is, there is no product solution that can be applied commercially. Although the cost of the LED itself has dropped significantly, the market has not improved significantly. Recently, I have also seen some foreign reports that Toshiba has launched some products that can solve the heat dissipation and power supply of the lamp cup well. If this is the case, the market for the lamp cup should follow T8-LED and soon rise. It is also one of the first areas where LED is promising.
At present, since Wal-Mart has begun to replace traditional fluorescent tubes with T8-LED in the world, it can be seen that the hope of this subdivision field is not far away.
As far as the current level of industry development is concerned, LED lighting does not yet have the ability to break the traditional lighting concept and still stay on the replacement route; while in the replacement route, LED lighting must also rely on government policy guidance.
