I wrote this review the first time, just took some photos and shared it generally. I'm also more than welcome to add more details. This is a 120GB solid-state drive (SSD), but I find it quite slow, even for 4K tasks.

This isn't my first time buying an SSD, but this time I was planning to install it in a new machine for a long period. I had to decide on the right combination: 240GB + 2TB? 120GB + 3TB? Finally, after checking the budget, I went with the cheapest option—120GB + 1TB. It's not the best price-to-performance ratio, but based on my needs, it felt like the most reasonable choice.
The latest generation of 2.5-inch SSDs from SanDisk includes three models, with the PLUS version being the lowest. In my opinion, there's no real difference in performance. Previously, they used MLC, but now they've switched to TLC. Even if it's standalone, I still believe that without changing any components, this drive should last a long time.

The 120GB SSD is enough to install Windows 10 and a few core games. Many common software applications run slower if not installed on the SSD.

The appearance of the SSD isn’t anything special, but what matters is its performance.

The red packaging is standard for SanDisk. The package includes instructions, but no screws.

The front has a SanDisk sticker, which looks pretty basic. I personally prefer the feel of metal-made drives from Intel or Plextor. This one is made of plastic, giving off a cheap impression.

On the back, there’s a SATA3 interface and a power port.

When I booted up the system:

AHCI was enabled, 4K alignment was correct, but when running AS SSD, the write speed was very low.

Crystal DiskMark also showed low read speeds.

To compare, I ran a test with a Toshiba HDD. It performed better, even though the read/write levels were only average. The write speed was actually higher than the SanDisk SSD. That surprised me.

In the second AS SSD test, the speed was slightly better—about 80% higher—but still far below normal levels.

The write speed was oddly low, exactly matching what SanDisk claimed in their promotions.

I’m currently applying for a replacement. This is the second time I’ve used SanDisk, and it’s definitely a letdown.
It's hard to say whether the quality control at SanDisk's factory is lacking, but this issue feels really strange. The HDD runs fine, so I can't tell if the system is unstable. Also, there's 50GB of free space on the SSD. I haven't seen 100MB/s writes before, and the second test hit 180MB/s, which is still way below normal (usually over 400MB/s).
Is 4K aligned? Yes. AHCI is enabled.
Overall, I'm not satisfied with this purchase. Fortunately, JD.com has good after-sales service, and I hope SanDisk can improve their product in the future.
