TE introduces several cost-effective M.2 (NGFF) connectors

TE Connectivity (TE) has launched the M.2 Series Next Generation (NGFF) connector, a cutting-edge solution designed for next-generation interface standards in compact and space-efficient applications. TE's M.2 (NGFF) connectors are tailored to meet the growing demand for ultra-thin designs across various SSDs and wireless network cards in notebooks, ultrabooks, tablets, desktops, and servers. These connectors are versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications.  As the market continues to evolve toward smaller, more efficient components, the need for compact connectors that maximize PCB space, reduce overall height, and support faster data transfer rates becomes increasingly important. The latest M.2 (NGFF) products feature standard surface mount or embedded mounting options, making them even more compact. With 67 pin positions spaced just 0.5mm apart, these connectors deliver high performance in a minimal footprint.
