Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. has recently introduced four new 1A miniature glass-passivated single-phase bridge rectifiers in a compact 1.4mm surface-mount MBLS package. These devices—MBL104S, MBL106S, MBL108S, and MBL110S—are designed for high-performance AC/DC full-wave rectification applications, particularly in smartphone chargers and other compact power systems.
Each of these rectifiers offers different reverse voltage ratings: 400V for the MBL104S, 600V for the MBL106S, 800V for the MBL108S, and 1000V for the MBL110S. They are capable of handling up to 30A of inrush current, with a forward voltage of just 0.95V at 0.4A, ensuring efficient and reliable operation even under demanding conditions. The maximum junction temperature is rated at +150°C, making them suitable for a wide range of environments.
The MSL (Moisture Sensitivity Level) of these rectifiers is level 1 according to J-STD-020, which means they are highly resistant to moisture damage. The lead-free (LF) peak temperature reaches 260°C, ensuring compatibility with reflow soldering processes. Additionally, these components are RoHS compliant (2011/65/EU) and meet the halogen-free requirements of JEDEC JS709A. They are also UL-listed with file number E54214, providing added assurance of quality and safety.
The new bridge rectifiers are currently available for sampling and are in full-scale production. For larger orders, the lead time is approximately eight weeks.
