Analysis of the market application status and future development trend of LED driver IC

LED driver ICs are currently showing a prosperous scene in the market, which is mainly due to the rapid growth of the LED lighting industry, which has created a lot of domestic small IC design houses, and expects to get a piece of the big industry.

Domestic small IC Design House, currently divided by region, Jiangsu (Zhejiang and Zhejiang) (or the Yangtze River Delta) is the most (at least 20), I know more than 10; South China Pearl River Delta region is relatively lagging behind, but very close Market front-end; of course, LED lighting manufacturers in the Yangtze River Delta region also account for one-fifth of the total production of LED lighting in China (except Xiamen); LED lighting manufacturers in the Pearl River Delta region account for about three points of the entire Chinese production One; is the largest production area in the country. 1. RCC (Resistor-Capacitor Coupled) RC coupling: ultra low-end bulb products of less than 5W

c). Linear High PFC IC

At present, the above linear ICs are hardly sold in the market, and a small number of low-end bulbs are still in use. The T8-T5 is almost useless.

3. Switching power supply IC solution

The isolated schemes are PSR and SSR. The PSR solution also follows the previous charger solution, except that the CV module is removed, and the chip area is small; only the constant current function is retained. The PSR structure is easy for newcomers to the power supply; there is no need to worry about loop stability (no need to debug loops at all).
