China and the United States reach 45 billion trade agreement

According to reports, China and the United States recently reached a trade agreement of 45 billion U.S. dollars. These agreements cover areas such as agriculture, railways, hybrid vehicles, and civil aviation, and will provide 235,000 jobs to the United States.

At the recently held China-US Trade and Investment Environment Briefing, Chinese and US companies signed six trade and investment agreements worth US$574 million, including automobiles, electronics, mechanical engineering, textiles, apparel, and ceramics.

The total amount of clean energy cooperation agreements signed by Chinese and US companies and research institutes exceeds US$20 billion, covering clean coal, nuclear power, wind power, smart grids, and electric vehicles, signifying that clean energy cooperation has become a new highlight of Sino-U.S. cooperation.
