According to the report, the operating income of the company was reduced by 52% compared with the same period of the previous year, which was mainly due to the decrease in orders from some customers during the period. The company's net profit and net profit attributable to owners of the parent company decreased by 87% and 84% respectively over the same period of the previous year, mainly due to the decrease in income and expenses in the current period.
Shida expects that the operating conditions in January-June 2013 will be performance losses, with a loss range of 15 million yuan to 18 million yuan. The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies from January to June 2012 was 21.61 million yuan.
For the reasons for the changes in the performance from January to June 2013, the company said that in order to enhance the company's core competitiveness and long-term sustainable profitability, the company has determined the transition from EMS single business to “EMS business + independent brandâ€. Strategic objectives, 2013 is a key period for the company's strategic transformation and industrial diversification. With the reduction of EMS orders and the shift of the company's development focus, the proportion of EMS business has gradually decreased; at the same time, the company continues to increase its LED lighting and other autonomy. The investment in brand construction and independent research and development of the brand business is expected to result in the first loss of the company's operating results from January to June 2013.
