Wafer Plant Capital Expenditure to Increase by 22% in 2011

According to the report of SEMI World Fab Forecast, global fab project expenditures in 2011, including construction, facilities, and equipment, will increase by 22% compared to 2010, of which equipment expenditures (including new equipment and used equipment) will increase by 28%. The analysis report is based on the recently announced capital expenditure plan, which mainly comes from OEMs and storage chip manufacturers.
