In a recent statement, Allen Huolin, chairman of Kecheng Technology, mentioned that the AR device currently in development will be sleek, lightweight, and comfortable to wear.
"Based on our past experience, this new AR design looks elegant and is compact enough to be wearable," Huolin said during a recent earnings call. "However, the housing for such a device is extremely complex, and there are still many technical challenges to overcome." He added that the project presents a unique set of difficulties due to the need for both aesthetics and functionality in a small form factor.
