Starting from August 22, 2017, we will be conducting an extensive review of six 55-inch commercially available smart TVs from 2017. To demonstrate that every product we test is completely new and untouched, we'll be adding all six TVs to the destruction process within a single unit, which will also be shown live.

On August 25th, the X55Q TV arrived at the Zhongguancun Online TV Evaluation Room. For those unfamiliar with the brand, it might come as a surprise that this TV hails from a strong licensed background, making it stand out among other Internet TV brands. Despite being relatively new, the brand has quickly established itself as a formidable player in the Internet TV market.
The packaging of the X55Q is incredibly thorough. It’s one of the most secure I’ve seen, with multiple layers of protection including a wooden box, four straps, two foam baffles, and protective film. The outer box itself is simple yet elegant, with a clean white finish featuring a front-facing image of the TV.
The X55Q belongs to the premium “Hwan Watch†series and is the first curved TV in this lineup. With its 4K curved screen and 4000R curvature, the design provides a more immersive visual experience. What's particularly impressive is the inclusion of a high-quality subwoofer, which stands out even before the TV is fully set up.
Unboxing the X55Q revealed several key features that set it apart. The base design is particularly noteworthy, with two silver-white metal stands that have an inward flip design—something rarely seen in TV manufacturing. These stands contribute significantly to the overall sleek and modern look of the TV.
After a quick assembly process, the X55Q stood proudly before us. Its minimalist design, combining silver and gray tones, exuded simplicity and elegance. Even those unfamiliar with the brand were impressed by its aesthetic appeal.
One of the standout aspects of the X55Q is its curved screen on the back of the TV, which has gained popularity in recent years. The metal body complements the curved screen beautifully, offering a seamless integration of form and function. Below the bottom bezel lies a silver-white aluminum trim, adding a touch of sophistication.
The base design is both functional and visually appealing. While initially, I had concerns about stability, the final setup proved reassuring. In an era where TV designs often blend together, this unique design helps the X55Q stand out.
The back of the TV features a large metallic panel with the brand logo prominently displayed. Beneath it, there’s an independent bass enclosure that houses a dual-amp 2.1-channel high-end audio system. This setup ensures deep bass reflection when the TV is mounted against a wall, enhancing the overall audio experience.

This TV not only meets but exceeds expectations in terms of design and functionality, marking a significant step forward for the brand in the competitive world of smart TVs.
