Starting August 22, 2017, we'll be conducting an in-depth review of six 55-inch commercial Internet TVs released in 2017. To demonstrate that every product we test is brand new and unopened, we'll include all six units in the destruction process, placing them in a demolition unit. We'll also showcase the progress of this live broadcast. Below is a picture showing the unboxing experience of the X55Q TV.
On August 25th, the X55Q TV arrived at the online TV evaluation room in Zhongguancun. For those who aren't very familiar with the television industry, you might not recognize this brand. But here's something you might find hard to believe: this brand has a legitimate lineage.
When we look at the smart terminal brand under China's international radio and television network station, the strength of its license background gives it an advantage that other Internet brands lack. After nearly two years of development, this brand has grown into a powerful force in the Internet TV market.
This is possibly the most rigorous packaging I've seen, aside from wooden boxes. The packaging includes four straps, two foam baffles, and protective film—protection that seems a bit excessive. The box itself is white, featuring a front view of the TV on the cover. The sides of the box list the model number and other details.
The X55Q falls under the high-end "Hwan Watch" series and is also the first curved TV product from this brand. With its 4K curved screen and a 4000R golden curvature, the visual experience is enhanced. This is one of the few curved TVs in the Hengping series equipped with Hisense VIDAA. Notably, the X55Q features a high-quality subwoofer configuration, which is quite impressive, especially when seen in person.
Unboxing begins: the base becomes the highlight. I've been involved in the unpacking, installation, and repackaging of countless TV models. My impression is that although each TV product has similar packaging, the smallest differences and details reveal how much care goes into it. If a manufacturer doesn't even pay attention to the outer packaging of their TV, it’s hard to trust the quality of the product itself.
The internal packaging is compact and well-thought-out. Inside, there’s a 55-inch curved screen with a gray metal frame. The base design is unique, featuring two silver-white metal bases. These bases, with their inwardly flipped design, are unlike anything I’ve seen before. They make the overall appearance look sleek and modern.
After a quick installation, we can see the X55Q standing before us. Its design follows the current minimalist trend, with a silver and gray color scheme that looks elegant. Even people who hadn’t heard of the brand were impressed by the X55Q's appearance.
Surprisingly, the back of this large curved TV is also aesthetically pleasing. Many people feel that the curved screen enhances the immersive viewing experience while reducing rigidity. The metal body feels premium, and there's a silver-white aluminum strip along the bottom edge.
The base itself is rich in texture, with a unique inward design that stands out among today's homogeneous TV designs. Initially, I had concerns about the stability of the base, but once installed, it looked great. In an era where most TVs look alike, this small unique design shows the brand's personality.
The back of the TV uses metal materials, with the brand logo printed in the center. Beneath the logo is an independent bass chamber. It turns out that the X55Q features a dual-amp 2.1-channel high-end audio system, with the rear independent bass cavity reflecting sound off the wall for deep bass. The sound quality is promising.
