Graphic: Sweden, New Zealand and Norway lead machine-to-machine communication

Machine-to-machine communication is a remote control, an important part of warehouse management, robotics, transportation management, logistics services, supply chain management, telemedicine systems, as well as an important basis for the system of things.

Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technology refers to any technology that enables networked devices to communicate and complete tasks without human assistance. Machine-to-machine communication (M2M Communication) refers to automatic data transmission between networked machines or electronic devices. Machine-to-machine communication is an important part of systems such as remote control, warehouse management, robotics, traffic management, logistics services, supply chain management, and telemedicine. It is also an important foundation for IoT systems.

According to OECD data, the number of machine-to-machine communication cards in Sweden is the largest. The number of machine-to-machine communication cards per 100 people is 68.8 at the end of the year, followed by New Zealand and Norway. The United States has the largest number of machine-to-machine communication cards. It has reached 49 million, followed by Japan and France.
