Our product lineup includes two distinct offerings to address the rising demand for 360-degree camera applications. The semi-professional model leverages the company’s SC2000 high-performance processor, featuring real-time 4K image stitching capabilities. Meanwhile, the consumer-grade model has been developed in collaboration with Cypress Semiconductor and ImmerVision, incorporating the MBG967 IoT series processor. Both solutions come complete with circuit board design references and software development kits, enabling manufacturers to effortlessly create customized high-performance dome cameras tailored to their specific needs.
The MBG967, crafted specifically for general consumers, addresses the increasing demand for real-time 360-degree image capture, including applications like virtual reality video live streaming. In response to this trend, Socionext, alongside Cypress and ImmerVision, has co-developed a smartphone-compatible camera accessory. The "EZ-USB® CX3" bridge chip ensures compatibility with both USB3.0 and USB 2.0 standards while supporting the USB video class (UVC) for high-resolution, high-speed image acquisition. ImmerVision's innovative Panomorph optical technology and accompanying software enable superior 360-degree image quality even on compact cameras. Powered by these advanced technologies, Socionext introduced the 360-degree camera solution MBG967, featuring an integrated Milbeaut IoT processor capable of processing data from two cameras simultaneously. The initial product features two 16-megapixel cameras mounted on an 8cm x 8cm circuit board. Socionext plans to expand its product range to accommodate diverse resolution and frame rate requirements.

The SC2000, designed for semi-professionals, is optimized for high-performance cameras requiring rapid processing of extensive image data. Utilizing Socionext’s proprietary image processing algorithms, the SC2000 achieves power consumption under 2W in typical operating conditions. Users can connect up to four cameras to the SC2000, which supports real-time video stitching and delivers 4K/30fps output quality. These 360-degree dome cameras are ideal for premium sports cameras and drones, as well as providing flawless spherical images for video conferencing systems, theaters, and sporting events.
