These failures can generate excessive heat, potentially damaging both the charging cable and the connected device, and even posing a risk of injury to the user.
By integrating the LoRho Series PPTC into the Vbus line of the connector, the system can detect temperature spikes and automatically halt the charging process until the issue is resolved. Once the problem is fixed, the device resets itself without requiring replacement, offering a reliable and safe charging experience.
The LoRho SMD Series PPTC is ideal for applications where small pin spacing is common, such as microUSB and USB-C connectors.
