Electrician's year-end work summary essay - Solutions - Huaqiang Electronic Network

SMD Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor

Since I started working, I've always been in the frontline as an electrician. Over the years, I've held myself to high standards and worked diligently. This past summer, I joined the equipment department at Yinlong Mining Co., Ltd., where I participated in the installation and commissioning of electrical systems. It's now the end of my 13th year in this field, and looking back, I remember the hard work we did during those times—installing equipment in the sputum sputum workshop on cold winter days, the intense heat during summer, and the collaborative effort in the bismuth oxide workshop that helped us complete the project with quality.

Throughout the first half of the year, I was involved in various tasks across different workshops. I handled electrical equipment failures, performed repairs in other areas, and managed a wide range of responsibilities. These included installing and wiring power distribution cabinets, setting up cable trays, installing remote control buttons, commissioning automation systems, laying basic circuits, maintaining lighting systems, installing wind turbines, updating line configurations, and replacing relays in power cabinets.

When it comes to electrical issues, like motor failures, the process starts with checking the insulation of the wires, whether the motor is overheating, and if the wiring matches the nameplate specifications. I also check the winding connections and measure the insulation resistance and DC resistance to detect any damage, open circuits, short circuits, or grounding problems.

Our company is relatively new, and there are not many strict regulations for installing gas discharge equipment. For example, the trench under the power cabinet wasn't dug properly. Due to the subtropical climate in Changting, which has heavy rainfall, water couldn't drain effectively. The acidic rainwater caused corrosion on the cables, which posed a serious safety risk.

As an experienced electrician, I sometimes make mistakes, especially when dealing with a heavy workload. I used to rush through tasks, but even simple wiring could go wrong. I once installed a temperature control button in the sedimentation workshop, and during testing, it kept failing. After a thorough inspection, I found that the wiring was incorrect, the circuit diagram wasn't accurate, and the parameters were set improperly. From that experience, I learned the importance of correctly reading and understanding circuit diagrams, which made future installations much more efficient.

In production, following rules and regulations is essential. Safety should always come first. If I don't understand something, I ask questions with humility. If I still can't figure it out, I note it down and discuss it with others. In today’s fast-changing world, with new technologies constantly emerging, continuous learning is crucial to stay ahead.

Working well with colleagues is key to success. When everyone understands each other, tasks are completed more efficiently. Mistakes shouldn't happen again if we learn from them. These are the goals I will continue to strive for in my future work.
