When asked about the possibility of machines surpassing human intelligence, Zhang noted that the famous Turing Test might be misleading. Machines don't need to perfectly mimic human behavior; instead, they can excel in rational processes where humans struggle. Zhang expressed his hope for significant advancements in AI, where machines could potentially discover profound theorems equivalent to those made by great scientists like Einstein.
In his personal endeavors, Zhang co-founded Danhua Capital, focusing on high-level technology investments. His vision is to bridge academia and industry, integrating science and investment, as well as connecting China and Silicon Valley.
