Dual-core + dual-screen Sony Android 3.1 tablet or low-cost listing

Sony previously released two tablet PCs, S1 and S2, with the new name S1, the Sony Tablet S, which will be available for sale early next month. The latest news today said that S2 will make its debut at the IFA 2011 exhibition in Berlin, Germany, under the name of Sony Tablet P.

This Sony S2 machine weighs about 370g, equipped with two 5.5-inch touch screen, both screen resolution is 1024x480 pixels, running Android 3.1 system, equipped with a 1GHz Tegra2 dual-core processor, built-in 512MB RAM memory and 4GB storage space with 300,000 pixel front camera.

In addition, Sony also deliberately made adjustments for the UI of the S2, giving full play to the advantages of the double 5.5-inch folding design, providing an e-book browsing experience similar to reading books, and built-in PlayStation Suite game service, Reader Store e-book service, Sony Qriocity Cloud audio and video services. However, Tablet P does not have Tablet S infrared transmitters, lack of linkage with the home theater.

It is reported that this Sony Tablet P will replace the previous VAIO P series computers, while Western sources revealed that it will be listed in mid-September, the price will be cheaper than the iPad 2.
